I initially trained as a chartered accountant, and later specialised in corporate insolvencies, recoveries and reconstructions. I left the profession in the mid eighties and went on to become CEO of a public company manufacturing and marketing heavy transport equipment. In the mid nineties I began trading derivatives, currencies and shares, and continue to do so today.
In addition to the financial markets, and writing, I have a keen interest in snow skiing, squash, tennis and golf.
My professional and corpotate background has provided me with the base for writing business themed suspense novels. I greatly admire John Grisham's unique story telling skills, and have also been influenced by Pulitzer prize winner, James B.Stewart.
