Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio - I gravitated towards the sport of boxing as a hobby of interest in the wake of getting jumped by a few trouble-makers. I won the Ohio district Golden Gloves boxing tournament, and became an influence and motivator to Jerry Louis Page. I played a major role in pushing him to victory in the 1984 Olympic games for the Gold medal.
In 1985 ; I began working for The Arlington Security Company and was recognized as Officer of the month. In addition , I received a letter of commendation from State Senator, Paul Pfeiffer, as a tribute to my officer of the month award.
The following year I graduated from the Southern Ohio College, one year private security program with a 4.0 grade point average. Mrs Mcfarland, my English teacher , was captivated with my writing skills and poetry; and she encouraged me to continue my education; so I went on to Capital University ( a private university ) and majored in speech communications, and minored in philosophy for one and a half years.
I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to hone my writing skills. And I began reciting my poetry in front on large audiences of two to three hundren people for the Executive Director of the Plymouth Church Neighborhood Foundation Lee Blons in 2004.
I will be moving to Fort Worth Texas at the end of the year of 2013. I have written four books. My first two books, "Rhymes of the Times" and "Shedding Light" are purchasable via www.Amazon.com and www.booksurge.com and abebooks.com and www.alibriz.com and www.Amazon.co.uk
