Josette L. Miles was born on October 1, 1970. She was reared in both North Carolina and Chicago. She is the middle child in a family of 6 children. She divorced after 11 years of marriage. She is the proud mother of her greatest inspirations, Brittany Lynnea and William Franklin, III.
Since early childhood she detected a certain compassion and innate desire to learn who she was within herself. Today she is an educator, a writer, and a professional in the helping field, and community service activist. She still desires to help others to obtain their full potential through advisement, educational leadership, and empowerment.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Counseling/Leadership from Kennesaw State University in 2002. And continued on to earn her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2006. Her ultimate intrinsic goal is to provide educational and societal leadership by way of speaking and writing.
Her commitment and passion for the aforementioned goals are evident through her tireless efforts as a community leader. All proven by her dedication to local DeKalb County School System, the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), Boys and Girls Club, Inc. and professional Vitae’.
She deems herself above all an independent, ethically sound, professional with extensive knowledge gained through academic as well as "real life" experiences. Each of the above listed characteristics has afforded her the opportunity to implement her knowledge and enthusiasm through her inspirational writing, analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Through her vast affiliation with several outside organizations, she has gained a plethora of experience.
Her background, her ambition, her resourcefulness, and her innate desire to be a successful leader will continue to foster the development of her continued success.
