Paul JJ Payack's metafiction has been published in more than 400 journals, anthologies, and collections including The Paris Review, New Letters, and Boulevard.
His latest published works include "Conversation With The WordMan and Other Words on Words," published in the Spring of 2004; "A Plague of Darkness," an illustrated essay about children in today's society; the the science fiction novella, "Children of the Mind: An Extended Metafiction; " "The Idea Mine: A Brief Note on Metafiction" and "Worlds to Shatter, Shattered Worlds".
Payack has spent some twenty years as a marketing executive in the High Tech arena, currently as Senior Vice President for Alacritus Software in Silicon Valley. Payack also serves as President & The WordMan of the Leading Global Language Portal.
Payack graduated from Harvard University where he studied comparative literature, a variety of dead languages, and fine arts, having previously studied psychology and philosophy at Bucknell University.
He currently resides in Northern California with his wife and family.

Paul JJ Payack has authored hundreds of what The Paris Review called “prose poems,” The Kansas City Star, “polyphonic prose,” and Contemporary Authors, “metafiction.
Payack's metafiction has appeared in hundreds of journals, anthologies, and collections including The Paris Review, New Letters, and Boulevard, as well as a dozen collections.
Payack’s oeuvre currently consists of some 1000 creative works.

Payack was a ‘contributor’ to the National Research Council’s national encryption policy, and was part of the team that won the first-ever ‘Best of Show’ Award at Networld+Interop for an Internet Product or Service in 1995.
Payack has lectured widely on high tech Marketing and Communications at organizations around the world including The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Babson College, the University of Texas, Harvard, GM/Hughes Aircraft, BusinessWeek’s Digital Economy Conference; Sky Television’s Bunting’s Window; and CIO Magazine’s Perspective Conference, among others.
