Background Information

American by birth, Puerto Rican by parentage, I was born in New York City and raised in the lower east side of Manhattan. My upbringing left me with many, many memories to share of my vivid, colorful childhood that ranges from hilarious to shocking to heartbreaking.

I graduated from Seward Park High School in 1976 and went on to get a degree in Education from the University of Vermont. I am the father of four beautiful children and grandfather (abuelo) to two delightful granddaughters. I currently reside in upstate New York.
