Melina Schamroth is in the business of making a difference.
Since her career began in 1989, Melina has combined corporate positions with a number of voluntary roles to make a positive difference to the lives of others. In 2001 she established m.a.d.woman to encourage, inspire and enable people to make a positive difference within the community.
Melina has worked in journalism, communication, marketing and public relations roles for a variety of global companies and leading organisations in Australia and New Zealand. These include top 100 companies, Government, not for profit groups, private companies and emerging businesses.
Melina studied Journalism in New Zealand and is currently undertaking a Masters in Philanthropy and Social Investment at Swinburne University. After a decade of pro bono work for not for profit organisations in Australasia, Melina established both m.a.d.woman, to run campaigns and programs to improve our world, and the m.a.d.woman Fund, a sub fund of the Melbourne Community Foundation.
m.a.d.woman specialises in campaigns to improve our world. These include corporate social responsibility, public relations, communication, cause-related marketing, events and strategic philanthropic advice.
