I enjoy telling fun stories for the purpose of entertaining.  I've been told that my novels read like movies and I couldn't be any more pleased, as movies have always been a passion of mine.

My main inspiration is my son. Being a single father, we have forged a bond that's inseparable, and watching his imagination work only sparks interest in me wanting to tell more stories. I am also currently working on a children's series based on characters that my son has created during a power outage when he was four years old.  It should be incredibly fun consulting him and I really can't wait to see how it comes out. 

My literary preferences are:  Philip K. Dick, Piers Anthony, Clive Barker, Elmore Leonard, Lawrence Block (Rhodenbarr and Scudder equally), Dennis Lehane, Stephen King.

Favorite Films: Empire Stikes Back, Goonies, Back to the Future, anything Hitchcock, Tim Burton films and yes, Indiana Jones.  I am a product of the film-making and storytelling genius that was the mid '80s.  I also love the Coen Brothers and am a really big fan of anything Chris Nolan touches.
