Originally from a small village in Northern Ontario Canada, I have traveled extensively throughout North America and have lived and worked in many places. I obtained a bachelors degree in Women's Studies and History from the University of British Columbia and went on to do a Masters in Social Work at the University of Toronto.
I have now settled down in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains where I live in an old house with my partner Lupe and our young son Noe. (And two very cute dogs.)
My first fiction novel - Jackfish, The Vanishing Village - was published in December 2007 by Inanna publications.
Novel # 2 - Song Over Quiet Lake - will be published in the fall of 2009 by Second Story Press.
