Law Enforcement was were I spent my working life. During my working years I also spent 20 year in the US armed forces, 6 years on active duty and 14 years in the Army National Guard. My career in Police work and the Military are what has influenced my writing the most. I retired in 2006 and my wife and I decided to move to our vacation home on the shores of Lake Chapala in Jalisco Mexico. Most of my wrting to date has been in the field of Workplace Violence Prevention. I'm a Certified Violence Prevention specialist and have written dozens of articals on Personal and Business Security. In 2003 I wrote a business manual for small businesses called the "Small Business Workplace Violence Prevention System" which was aimed at giving small business people the information they needed to help prevent violence in their workplaces. More than anything else I have always wanted to write a novel. Once I retired I finally had the time so I wrote about what I know best Cops, the Military and their environment. I have always liked to read stories about Police officers and the Military and I think that others enjoy these stories as well. Thats why I choose a cop story as my first Action/Adventure fiction novel. It's called Project: Sentinel. After completeing it I was offered a publishing contract and the book has now been released and is available direct from the publisher and at all major book stores. I am currently working on my second fiction novel.

In 2002 I was certified as a Work Violence Prevention specialist by the International Association of Safety Professionals. In 2005 I was recognized as Officer of the Year by the International Association of Health care Security and Safety.

My first Action/Adventure fiction novel entitled Project:Sentinel has been released by Publish America. I have now published my second book "Run From Ramadi" and it will be released by Publish America on November 7, 2009 Look for both my books online and in your favorite bookstores.
