Threads of Deception
Threads of Deception is a story set in the Texas hill country near Austin. It's about a family whose success was built on lies and murder when the patriarchs were young men returning home from the Korean War.
The children in present day, are middle-aged and have no clue as to their family background. They have all but given up on finding the missing branches on their family tree.
The son, Chase Alexander is an ex-police officer and writer who accidentally stumbles onto the secrets the family has guarded for 53 years when two good ole boys are paid to kidnap and kill him but soon realize that they have killed another man by mistake.
Chase must now search for his missing father while his mother and uncle do their best to prevent him from learning what each of them has kept hidden for so many years.
With the aid of his sister, April and Angela, his ex-girlfriend, they follow the trail of bodies which eventually leads them to the man who wants Chase dead and at the same time, solves a fifty-three year old murder in Pennsylvania farm country.
