I am a man of many words, but my poetry started late in High School. I remember my teacher telling me that that first writing was not a poem--boy ws he wrong. Anyway, my poetry took when I started community college at the age of 23. I used the medium of words to explore my new found world of academics and how my experiences fit into that world--For the most part my poems were of love and romance. That changed as my new found outlet evolved and my education inspired the need to share the troubles of the world. One of the poems that changed my writings from love came after the schools shooting. My poem "The Smoking Gun" was published by the Des Moines Register in late 1999 or early 2000 as an op-ed piece.
My educataion includes an associate degree, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and a Juris Doctorate Degree.

My most recent work, "OBOMBANATION…A NOSTALGIC REMINISCENCE" was written on or aproximately on March 16, 2008 and final editing was completed the following morning. The total time spent writing this poem was one hour with three hours of editing. Interestly, I sent this poem out to many of the national prominent newspapers and CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, and ABC on the afternoon of 17th--only hours before Elton John hosted a concert for Hillary Clinton and he proclaimed that sexism was clear in the USA. The interesting thing is that none of the media outlets responded, printed, or discussed the prose.
