Hey I'm Jay Tyvon. Thank you for stopping by my page. If I could, I would like to take a second to tell you about myself. Ever since I can remember I've been fascinated with the subject of love as it pertains to relationships. How, so often, we take this beautifully designed emotion and twist it around making it complicated, and many times unhealthy. I remember, back in the day, watching Love Jones and being sucked in by the reality of how simple actions often get misconstrued. Isaiah's Washington's character would best sum it up, "It's easy getting there, but someone but someone show me how to stay there."
It's always funny to me, how in the beginning of relationships, we can stay up all night on the phone, yet months later, share a bed together with nothing to say. How once we were overwhelmed with that feeling of butterflies as our hearts fluttered each time we were blessed by that special someone's presence. Yet all too often, somewhere amidst the bliss, eventually one, if not both parties takes for granted the relationship--only to realize it's value after it's all over.
It's easy to reject the good in our lives as well as it is to allow the bad. The same holds true for the people who pass through our lives everyday. So often we confuse and abuse the relationships that seemingly matter most. What Is love? ...Usually a variety of factors--mentally, physically, and spiritually. How do we define it? Well, that's the great debate and the motivation behind what I write ...discovering the true meaning of love.
