She began life as a privileged child of loving parents and twelve siblings.  When her world came crashing down around with the death of her mother she was alone desperate and naïve.  She searched for love in all the wrong places and before long became victim to a predator that took advantage stealing her innocence. 

Forever changed by the humiliation of deceit she became a runner.  She ran away from reality, home, life, intimacy and her family for fear that they would discover of her dirty little secret.

Living on the Streets of Detroit, she built walls to block anyone everyone from penetrating her world.  She became a loaner; secretive of her past.

A ten years quest to regain her soul gave her a positive insight into the world around her.  She broke through the many locked doors and empty facades and  encountered a path of destruction and despair, but she persevered. At twenty-one, she returned home and to school.  She studied creative writing, journalism, and graphic artistry you name it she read it.  Using her experience and education as a catalyst to launch a career in the publishing industry, she found her nitch in urban fiction.

Ginger just completed a host of novels among them;, “The New Don” life of a gangsta princess, a riveting yarn flaunts the power, money, lust, and the passion of a young a woman’s demand for recognition.  Her writing encompasses the best of both worlds; the true grit of her God given talent and her life’s experience.  It is her sound belief that life is magnificent if lived to its fullest. 

Inspirations of her writing career came from Donald Goines, Maya Angelou, Dr. Bernie Siegel, Walter Mosley, and Ellen Sussman.  Most of all her inspiration comes from the pain and hopelessness she sees in the eyes of the abused.
