I started writing profesionally a few years ago, when my fourth grandson was born. Since I was unable to fly to California to join the celebration of his new life, I decided to write the first letter that he would receive. One thing turned into another, and I ended up with a poetic book announcing his birth to the world.
After writing a mini-autobiography, I enrolled in the Childrens Writing Institute. I have written, but not yet published several childrens books.
I was asked to submit a small story to the new "Chicken Soup for the Soul," book, and have written a "Welcome to my School," book for a pre-school in Los Angeles.
I have written several whimsical articles for my column, which I have posted on my website. www.welcometoseniorhood
At the present, I am co-authoring a novel, and writing a journal about the experiences of a World War II veteran.
