I have always been an avid reader since my teen years, after reading many novels, I decided that I can do that too. About ten years ago, I decided to put pen to paper and have been writing ever since, thus the birth of my first novel Where I Wanna Be.
As for influences, I have to give that credit to my best friend Eunice and my cousin Deborah, who after reading my story encouraged me to pursue my dream of becoming a published author. These ladies were there to encourage me when the rejection letters came in the mail. They were the reason for deciding to self publish.
Influences in the business of writing would be Brenda Jackson, Donna Hill, Danielle Steele, Rochelle Alers, Beverly Jenkins, Vincent Alexandria, and E. Lynn Harris just to name a few.
