Born in Western Australia during the late 40's, and spending much of my early childhood in poverty, I suffered Rhuematic Fever which left me a little weaker than most my age. My parents seperated in the fifties and my Mother, though battling financial hardship, raised all five of her children alone. We were living in the South-West of the State and my mother took in washing and ironing to survive, 1 went to work in the local butcher shop when I was 10 years of age, making sausages. I was paid the massive amount of 10shillings and a side of sheep each week.
We managed and moved to the city where I had resumed serious study, I have never stopped studying and probably never will!
I have achieved many qualifications over the years and I have tried my hand at as many things as I can.
I now suffer from serious depression and have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. If Rhuematic fever didn't kill me then, even though I know I am fighting a losing battle, I have decided to just get on with life!
I know that I won't be here in 2060 but my Granchildren and Great Grand children will be. This is my motivational tool. I hope enough people read my book and take some notice of it and save the Human race!
