Susan Kersley changed her life from Medical Doctor to Life coach and Writer. She writes personal development books for Doctors, and Doctors and other Professionals who are Getting Ready for Retirement.

Background Information

After thirty years working as an NHS doctor I took early retirement and trained as a Life Coach. Now more than ten years on I've trained in NLP (Master Practitioner) and Hypnotherapy. I'm also a certified Heal Your Life Teacher (from Louise Hay's 'You can heal your Life')

I coach on the telephone one to one and in groups. I'm married to an orthopaedic surgeon, have three grown up children and two grandchildren

My background as a Medical Practitioner gives me a special insight into the lives of Doctors and I've specialised in Coaching Doctors.

Accomplishments

I've written a large number of articles published in the British Medical Journal about Personal Development for Doctors and the articles evolved into two books published by Radcliffe: 'Prescription for Change- for Doctors who want a Life' and 'ABC of Change for Doctors'.

I've turned my attention recently to another group who are preparing for retirement and not sure how they will manage this transition from long term employment to being retired.
