Well My major influence today would be God. I grew up in a normal home a loving mom
and dad. My dad passed away in my early teens. I then got mixed up in drinking, drugs,
gangs, and many other bad things. I did many things I am not proud of today. I ended up
going to jail for a D.U.I. and this gave me a major awakening, I watched friends get high,
drink and drive, go to jail, and some have died. I was sitting in my room one July morning
and I prayed to God to help my drinking and drug problem. That night I drove away from
a bar and drove a friend home then I blacked out and some how drove a long ways and
drove into a ditch by the grace of God I never hit anyone or I didn't kill anyone. I went to
jail. I then looked at my life as a second chance and I now don’t take life for granted as I
used to. I am have been sober since july of 1999. I have now done
nothing but climb up out of the hell I was living and I am now a much better person. I still
have struggles but today I can turn to God for help. I thank my mom and my friends for
standing on my side through the tuff times.  

I have made many achievements just not the kind you get awards for mine are personal achievments of life. Hey I got a letter the other day from a company that wants to publish one of my poems in a book with other authors. I'm so excited about it.

I'm back after being away from posting I have witten a few things and got away from writting but I'm back at it. I hope you enjoy my work. Thank You
