I went 'full circle': born in a nominal Christian family; left church behind in my late teens; explored everything I could find ('Eastern' religions, psychic phenomena, altered states of conscioiusness, etc.); then returned to renewed involvement in 2 denominations; finally realized the Truth-- it's not about 'churches' as buildings or as organizations! Now, I'm a generic believer in Christ and his essential message of freedom.
My search for truth in all aspects of life motivated me to start a simple website where I post my essays with my thoughts on the predicament of the world at this momentous time.
I am especially interested in reaching nominal 'atheists'-- i.e. those who have rejected 'religion' for all the right reasons (I can understand), but who may be reacting out of ignorance of the true tenets of Jesus' teachings... which have been almost entirely subverted by the Western world, and by the very organizations that claim the name 'Christian.'
In my essays, I try not to preach; my aim is to analyze the preconditioned ideas that are hallmarks of our society, and pull aside the facades. If nothing else, I hope to make readers think... and see the world in a new light.
