I have always loved to write. As a kid, I remember writing stories and pasting them to the side of my desk at school so other kids could read them.
In 1995, I graduated with a BA in psychology and wondered what to do with my life. I never thought that writing could be a viable career for me. But, I was quickly given a push by fate to write a novel for young adults. That novel became Dream Weavers, which is published on Lulu.com.
From there, I built my portfolio, writing everything from ads and brochures to press releases and articles. I also began writing for Askmen.com, an online magazine. I then went on to write for Calgary Living Magazine (now Opulence) for two years.
From there, I became well-versed in writing copy for major homebuilders and developers in Alberta and BC.
During this time, I finished 4 other books. Another young adult novel titled Sacred Circle, an adult novel titled Taming of the Drew and 2 non-fiction e-books, Dear Money and Inspired Writing, both of which are published on Lulu.com.
I believe everyone has a story inside of them waiting to get out. My hope is to inspire writers and non-writers alike, helping them to express themselves in a way that they never thought possible.
