To have done's not enough:
To stuff yourself with doing--that's the game." Ray Bradbury

Background
Information
|
|
I was born with a pen in my hand, reaching for a pad. My mother was distressed. My first short story was written when I was six years old, and sent to a magazine called "Children's Digest." My story, "Why Angels Have Wings," gave me my first rejection letter.
I have three children, seven grandchildren, a retired racing greyhound and a long-haired Chihuahua, who rules. I share my life with my soul mate of 16 years.
Most recent publication (we are also publishers) is "The Black Whole," a book of short stories that will have you turning on all the lights and checking the locks on your doors and windows.

Down In The Country Press
The conversion of nuggets of data to worlds of information is a specialty. At Down In The Country Press, we have specialized in the presentation of information, in both print and electronically, since 1972. We spent many years providing trade typesetting services to NY publishers, but now serve only the needs of individuals and small private presses. We bring to your presentation challenges a combination of 44 years of professional computing experience and 29 years in the business of type—whether you're headed for print or the Web.
