The motivation behind my writing is the joy of doing it.

I started writing before I was ten years old.  I had my first story published when I was 10 years old and received a crisp one dollar bill for my efforts!  I was thrilled.

I was born and grew up on the coast of eastern NC.  The water was home to me.  I spent most of my adult years in Florida with detours to Tennessee and the Philippine Islands. Ended up here in the Ozark foothills when my husband retired.

Have done a little traveling; to Panama, Cayman Islands, Mexico, St. Martin, Canada, Guam, to name a few and wiggled my toes in the South China Sea.

I have met and spent time with people from varied backgrounds and draw from this for my writing.

I have recently had my first full length novel published, "The Lady Lobscouser" and it's available on Amazon.com.

I have a total of six more completed novels waiting in the wings that I hope to soon bring to publication.
