I write mostly 'real talk' Opinions, views and observations of life. Social issues like guncrime, knife crime, peer pressure and just community related isuues, thats what really motivates me.
I have published 3 books of poetry and Iam three quarters of the way through my first novel.
My influences are not born from people but more from situations. I see, hear or feel things and are compelled to write. I have grown up In North West London all of my life and I have watched the streets change drastically for the younger generation in recent years. As a mother this frightens the life out of me and I feel that if I can reach even 1 teenager through my words, and perhaps stop them from taking a certain path in life then i would be a happy woman.
