I was influenced by my father's love of poetry from an early age. My favourite poets are Poe, Shelley, Burns, Rod McKuen, C D Wright and Maya Angelou. I always had my nose in a book when I was young, I guess I haven't changed. My book has poems which will move or surprise and readers will empathise with the feelings in the poems and think, "I know exactly how she feels!"

My poetry is featured in two anthologies, Expressions and Love and Romance compiled by Deborah Simpson, author, published by Lulu.com I am one of the winners of a poetry competition for a place in a book coming out before Valentine's day, the title of which I don't know yet, but it is published by Copeland Books. Update...the book is "New Poetry-In Love."
