Maggi Andersen lives in the countryside outside Sydney. She writes romantic suspense, historical romance and young adult novels. The writers that captivated her as a child were Enid Blyton's books, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan. As a teenager, it was Georgette Heyer, Agatha Christie, and all her father's favorite thrillers. Today, its thrillers and crime: Harlan Coben,  Nicci French, Henning Mankell, Le Carre, Minette Walters, Sue Grafton, Elizabeth George, Eloisa James and some great Regency writers too numerous to name. 

After completing a BA and MA in Creative Writing, Maggi wrote her first crime novel, CASEY'S LUCK. It gained semi-finalist status in the Amazon Penguin Breakthrough Novel Contest. It is published with Wild Child Publishing.

Her first Regency was STIRRING PASSIONS followed by several more.
