I started writing just to see if I could do it.    Turns out I can create a complete first draft in two to three months.  Revisions, clean up, etc. take a while longer and seem to be a lot more work, but what the heck.   Writing is fun, so why not spend some of my time on a fun project that involves inventing a whole new group of people.  Only drawback is that I miss them when the story is done.

My background is in report writing and administrative work with some criminal justice applications and experience.   Now I am retired and free to be more creative with my writing.   I have lived in several different states and currently reside in the beautiful, green, Pacific Northwest. 

My objective is to see if I can develop a following of readers who get enjoyment from my full length novels.   My first novel:  Recycleman is approximately 84,000 words.    This book was posted in its entirety  at the beginning of September, 2008 and can be read straight through, if you wish.   

My second book, In Hiding, will be posted when revisions are complete sometime during 2009.    It will be approximately   95 to 100,000 words or slightly more.
