Background Information

Joyce Akesson is a writer and interpreter and lives in Sweden.

She has written five books and several articles about foreign linguistics and three books of poetry "Love's Thrilling Dimensions", "The Invitation" and "Majnun Leyla: Poems about Passion".

Furthermore, two new poems "Anticipation" and "The Architecture of Happiness" have been published in an Anthology with the title "The New Poetry - In Love", selected, edited and compiled by Nicky Jones, Copeland Books, UK.

She loves reading, doing research in her field, writing poems, short stories and novels and spending time with her closed ones.

Accomplishments

She has studied the Semitic languages at Lund University where she also has been a lecturer, and is a published author in the field of foreign linguistics and poetry.
Furthermore, two of her poems have been selected as finalists for the Anthology "The New Poetry - In Love" which is published by Copeland Books in the UK.
