I've been making up stories since I was about ten. Some of the stuff that I wrote then wasn't half bad for a kid. When I was eighteen, I found myself suddenly writing a story that just blew up in my head one day. I ended up having it hastily published the following year. Though it didn't sell very well (it's still available by the way), I learned a lot from the experience. These many years later, I've published two more books (probably a little hastily as well), a couple short stories, several reviews, and a comic book mini series that I'm especially proud of. I've met and interacted with a lot of people in the business of writing, and I've found that it's something I really enjoy.
I write because I like to tell my stories; but not just any stories. I like stories that have a twist, and I especially enjoy unexpected endings. But the ending has to work with several plot points throughout the story that pull together to make the ending. It's like building a puzzle that you want to stump someone with. I've got a ton of these stories brewing in my head, but finding the time to put them down on paper is the chore.
