Alyz is a settler on the space colony Generativa Nova on the planet Pion. One night her parents and all colonialists are abducted by the slave workers of Pion; the horrible Humanoids. At the very last moment, Alyz manages to escape, and she decides to save her parents and all the other settlers. On her journey inside Pion she meets the green bird Fågel Grön and the boy Kiro who assist her in her struggle to save the planet and the settlers. Slowly they come to realize that not only have they, themselves and all the settlers been lied to, the secret of Pion might be more horrible and their endevours more difficult than they could ever have imagined... Time is running out and their struggles and hardships seem to never end... Will they be able to save the planet and all human kind from disaster?

COPELAND BOOKS COMPETITION WINNERS
Many thanks to all the wonderful poets who entered the Copeland Books Poetry Competition: Theme LOVE.
The overall standard of work submitted was extremely high, so it was very difficult to select the final 85 poems to go into the anthology.
