I was born on Guam and grew up on Staten Island. So you could say I come from the islands, mon! Writers are entertainers first. I produce material for that purpose. My jollies come from scares. My material crosses the membranes between many genres. Mostly, I would say I like horrific science fiction.

I guess one could describe me as Peter Straub in a Frank Herbert world--somewhere along the nebulous boundary between Stephen King and Ray Bradbury. I studied under one of the top Hemingway critics in the world and invite into my writing a heavy dose of American modernism.
