Terrie Leigh Relf, M.A. is on staff at Sam's Dot Publishing, where she edits Hungur Magazine and The Drabbler. In addition to being a free-lance writer, editor, and coach,she teaches academic writing at Woodbury University of Architecture, San Diego.

Relf grew up reading comic books, watching SCIENCE FICTION THEATRE, THE TWILIGHT ZONE, TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE et al, making monster models, not to mention reading voraciously. While she is inspired by the universe "all around" on a daily basis, she has also been influenced by too many writers to mention. Additional influences include serving on a variety of publications over the past fifteen years, genre litsts, workshops, and other environments where writers and editors interface.

To date, Relf has over 1,000 publishing credits in a variety of publications. She has been nominated for the Rhysling Award four times, including a nomination for a collaborative poem with her daughter, Willow Katsumi Relf-Discartin. She has won several poetry and fiction awards.

Recent releases from Sam's Dot Publishing include: THE POET'S WORKSHOP, a handbook; BLOOD JOURNEY, a vampire saga co-authored with Henry Lewis Sanders; and MY FRIEND, THE POET, a collection of speculative poems. Upcoming in 2011 include The Waters of Nyr, Jupiter's Eye - Redux, The Poet's Workshop - and Beyond with additional material, and The Ancient One, co-authored with Lewis Sanders.
