I was born in Maine and became a lover of nature at a very young age. When I was 17 years old, I entered college to become a nurse. I received my degree in Biology and Health Education at California State University at Northridge. I was a K-2 Teacher for the State of California for 22 years, and continued my nursing on week-ends.
I married my college friend-and-love, Bob and we have two girls and 6 grandchildren and one great grandson.
I have always loved writing and photography. I first had a photocard business in Las Vegas and then in 2007, I put together my first story about a little squirrel called Marigold. I illustrated this story with my photographs.
I found a publisher who would do the book for me and also set up my web site and publishing company. After Marigold, I wrote and published Pellina, a story about a pelican and then Manny, a story about a yellow-bellied-marmot.
My goal is to have 10 books and I am now working on a book about a Road Runner called Rudy. Each book has a lesson to learn, and this book is about eating the right foods.

| I recently had an artical printed,about my books, in the BATH-BRUNSWICK TIMES in Bath Maine.
The article was well written by Seth Koenig.
I am also adding Posters and Post Cards to my line of books. I hope to had plush animals as well.
In March, we will be going to our Condo in Panama, and I hope to get photographs to do a book on Monkey Island. |
