Goldie has been a published writer of some 60 books for all ages these last 20 years. She is best known for her historical novels which include "Mavis Road Medley" . "My Australian Story: Surviving Sydney Cove" and "Body and Soul: Lilbet's Romance."
However she also writes adult murder mysteries, "UnJust Desserts' and "UnKind Cut" "A~PI"s: Hedgeburners" a mystery for chidlren, story picture books "Lame Duck Protest", anthologies of stories for older children : "KIller Virus" and "My Horrible Cousins" , nonfiction maga books "Health and Understanding" and prize winning adult short stories and radio talks.
Having come from a teaching background, she takes creative writing classes and enjoys visiting schools, universities and clubs to talk about writing and books. She encourages beginner writers of all ages to put their thoughts down on paper(aka computer) and is happy to show them how to shape these ideas into interesting prose.

This guide offers a practical and stimulating approach that will lead you through the creative process from research, structure, crafting, beginning and endings, to controversial issues and publishing.
