Background Information

Emmanuel Chidi Ezike II was born in Monrovia, Liberia as the second child gifted to Emmanuel and Rose Ezike. He attended St. Michael's Catholic School from age six to sixteen in Liberia until December 1992 when his family fled the Liberian Civil War for Lagos, Nigeria. Emmanuel continued his Secondary Education at St. Charles College in Onitsha, Nigeria where he graduated Valedictorian of his High School in June 1995. In October 1995 Mr. Ezike and his mother immigrated to the United States and resided in Minnesota. He began his Higher Education at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in September 1996 and received a Bachelor of Arts in the Studies of Cinema and Media Culture. In April 2001, his screenplay WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE won Best Break thru Screenplay in the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. In November 2008 he completed his first Historical Fiction COMING FROM LIBERIA published via Lulu.com. Emmanuel C. Ezike II resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife Eva and ginger; their Boston terrier.
