Elizabeth Alan's Interests

General The male half of me loves to write song lyrics and has done it for longer than he cares to admit.  He got started writing lyrics because of Lennon and McCartney but essentially is Bernie Taupin waiting for his Elton John. My female half loves to draw and paint and wander aimlessly through art galleries. Music Well The Beatles, obviously. The list is long and distinguished. The female part of this duo loves alternative rock - partially because it drives the male half crazy. Gotta have a hobby. Movies We both LOVE old movies and romantic comedies - or just plain old romance. Half of us also likes adventure movies - the other half, not so much. Television How cool is it to admit that we love Reality TV? Books Morning Coffee by Elizabeth Alan is the current favorite - lol.  I love Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. Do I need to specify whether I'm the male or female part here? I don't think so. Favorite current authors would have to include John Grisham, Janet  (no one else can make me laugh out loud quite as often as I sit alone), Nora Roberts, and Patricia Cornwell (please bring back the Kay Scarpetta of old) just to name a few. Heroes Anyone who does something to bring a little hope or sunshine to someone else's life just because...And of course, The Beatles.
