Background Information

 

I was brought up on a small Northern Irish farm.

I remember as a child adding 'bluestone' to water for spraying on potato plants, to prevent blight.

Blight, my famine novel with an historical dimension and contemporary significance.

Famine still happens.

Belfast,  N. Ireland
Accomplishments

Being married, four great children, a teaching job, health, and food in the belly.

Additional Information

Love hill walking. I'm fortunate enough to live a thirty minute drive from where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea.
