I am a retired academic and am writing fiction for "young adults" (or old adults, even).

Background Information

My main reason to write is to keep my interest alive and my brain active.

I have been a reader since early childhood, and would like to encourage everyone to read more.

Harry Potter books are OK, but mine are more thoughtful -- their magic is not as profligate as JK Rowling's, but there is still plenty of magic!
