Dairy farmer, IBM - electronics engineer, Operated own business. Volunteered for a number of organizations. Wife and I had 60 foster child placements, worked floods in Madison, VA 1995 & 1996. Volunteered building 5 apartment building for temporary housing for indigent people. Volunteered for Madison Emergency Services Association, Red Cross, Organized and Operated Court Watch and Community Watch to help police. Married 58 years (to the same woman - Marilyn), 4 children including twin boys. Lost eldest two years ago to Lymphoma. First two books concered experiences about being foster children. Next two were political and last was autobiography.
