I write to entertain folks, to help them escape their day to day problems and step away from reality. This is especially true in my paranormal series The Chloe Files and my kids' horror series The Nightmare Club. My books are an escape, so much escape if you open one something just might grab you and pull you in!
My major influence was Lester Dent, who wrote the Doc savage series. I loved his quirky humor, snappy prose and sense of heroism.
