I was born near, grew up and went to school in Epsom, Surrey, the home of the Derby. I studied English inc. Medieval Studies at Exeter University in the late '80s. I still live in Surrey where my children go to school. I think my county is one of the most beautiful in England but maybe I'm biased! I've also always loved Devon where my mum comes from and where I have enjoyed many glorious holidays.
I love reading, theatre, art, crafts and history. Thanks to my daughter, I have also begun to enjoy music again - even if we don't always more...
