Judy Shurlock was born in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom and has a degree in Film and Drama, She works as a project controller in the oil and gas industry, and spends her spare time reading, writing, walking and occasionally horse riding.
At present she lives in Berkshire and spends as much time as possible down on Exmoor, the location for her debut novel "The Spirit of Hawsley Manor", a book of relationships and the paranormal.
