I grew up amongst a strong pecan tree with "knotty limbs, hovering branches, and deep roots". Within this trinity, my parents' love and the lessons they instilled in me have transcended time. The pecan tree of my homestead was a place of solace for many who came to seek the wisdom of my father. As a child, I saw lives impacted, I saw that not only there were no limits for love to me and my siblings, but also, no limits on love and the value of a human being nor mankind; regardless of personal circumstances.
