I am an attorney who lives in a small log cabin on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, immediately adjacent to Badlands National Park. I am an avid camper and love to travel with my three dogs. We have made two camping trips to Alaska recently and a third is planned for late this summer.
Life on the Reservation can be challenging, to say the least. I tend to disagree with the tribal politicians and have found myself in 'hot water' on more than one occasion, but I can't seem to keep my mouth shut about what goes on here.
