I can't remember a time when I wasn't pushing myself to find new inspiration in anything my eyes rested on. I found my niche in poetry and painting, and one of my favorite things to do is mesh them together. Combining my poetry and painting is like pairing mint with chocolate. You can have one without the other, but they sure do make a great pair! Delicious, too! As I said, I love to find inspiration in anything, whether it be in the sound of a piano, the lines of a Sylvia Plath poem, the brushstrokes of Modigliani's paintings, or just the snow falling on my speeding car's windshield.
