Bruce Alan Humphrey
I have lived in northern Illinois all my life. Growing up my family moved from place to place due to my fathers work.
The biggest influence in my life for writing was my reading teachers in Junior High school. They had the class read books such as: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Odyssey, Great Expectations, Tom Sawyer. Also many short stories which included To Build a Fire, my favorite, and The Most Dangerous Game. If I had a book that influenced my life it would probably be 'Mutiny on the Bounty' because its theme is men standing up for what is right and fair.
