Like many others, I grew up in the 60s and 70s without my father, and in Columbus, Ohio. I adopted a left-leaning ideology because it was in my best interest to do so, (or so I thought). In 1975 I joined the US Navy and served four years, worked on the radar-guided missile systems, making two cruises to the Mediterranean. Israel was the best place to visit, unlike the US, they never forget who their friends are.
After leaving the Navy, (amazingly, with an honorable discharge), I got an offer from a defense contractor that paid so much that I had to take it. more...
