There is only one major influence in my life, and that was the man who gave an 11 yr old girl (me)a quarter to buy the ice cream that she wanted. I only saw him out of the corner of my eye, because it shocked me that someone would do that. But what I saw, was am man with long brown hair and a robe. When I turned to thank him, he was gone without a trace. Another person who inspired me to try writing poetry, is my sister, Kristian Mahrling.
