Most of us have a story. Not all can or will make the story into the real thing. Part of my heritage is the Cherokee Indians. My relatives came to Oklahoma during the time of the Trail Of Tears. My novel, Clear Creek, is not about relatives, but it takes two fictional families through that horrible time when many Cherokees were forced to move to what is now Oklahoma. The history is accurate.
Our librarian "found" my pages in a box and encouraged me to get something done with the work. I used iUniverse to publish. So far not a best seller but I've had fun. more...
