I reside in Groton, CT., where I was born and raised. Inspired by poetry as a child, I began writing at age 13. This is my first publication, based on my personal life experiences. I hope the emotions and events that I have shared in this book will allow those who read it to believe that it is possible to overcome any obstacle, as long as you have faith and know that there are others in this world that have suffered similar pain or sadness and gotten through it.
