       My major influence for the love of writing is my Mom. She would stay up late at night writing me long letters. She taught me the joy of reading & writing. Those long letters carried us through my teens years. She was my best friend then and now.       My cousin Pauline and best friend then inspired me to read books. She was always sitting on the swing in her front yard under the locust tree. She was always reading books, writing letters or simple notes to friends.  I have so many beautiful memories more...
